Like many other couples, Lena and KC Currie shared a strong desire to start a family together. In fact, the pair decided to go down the adoption route in 2017, which led them to meet young Joey. And while he officially joined the Curries in March 2018, a call out of the blue proceeded to change their lives almost immediately.
