It has been nearly one year since Meghan Markle became part of the royal family. And now the Duchess of Sussex is preparing to welcome her first child with husband Prince Harry. So when it came to her final official engagement before going on maternity leave, she revealed a large baby bump.
Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016 after a mutual friend set them up on a blind date. They were able to keep their romance under wraps for a few months before the world caught wind of their relationship. And then in November 2017 the couple announced that Meghan had retired from acting and moved to the United Kingdom – and that they had gotten engaged.
On May 19, 2018, Harry and Meghan tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. It was on that same day that the Queen bestowed the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex upon them. And right after the royal wedding, Meghan began performing duties on behalf of the monarchy.
